Getting to know my mommy
1. Do you like chinese food? No, uck.....I hate chinese food, in fact I was not surprised when a few chinese resturants closed down here in town about a week after the pet shops went out of business........I am not saying anything.....just think it is strange.
2. How big is your bed? Big. I love love how big it is. We can fit all of our babies and us in it. I would love to have a bigger room someday so we can make the bed much bigger. Enough to fit all the tired people in the world in.
3. Is your room clean? Hahaha....you are adorable.....not at all clean. i am a clean person who is married to a wonderfully grown up boy......who is messy, I believe his mom would back me up on that.....LOL.
4. Laptop or Desktop computer? We have both. I prefer desktop, laptops are so annoying to me.
5. Favorite comedian? I am loving Dane Cook, he is adorable, funny and has a sick sense of humor. I also love Bill Cosby.
6. Do you smoke? No, I have never nor will I ever. My mom would have hung me by my toe nails....LOL.....I have asthma so I really couldn't survive if I did.
7. Does anyone like you? My three year old informed me today that I am his BFF.....of course he was saying that after I agreed that he could have a cupcake since he ate all of his lunch.
8. Whats the sexiest thing about Condoleeza Rice? Yeah, not really finding her attractive. But she is one of the most powerful women in the world. i wouldn't want to piss her off.
10. Sleep with or without clothes on? You know I like clothes, I just do. And I love sleeping. So if you put your hands together you would find a sleeping clothed Jewels.
11. Who sleeps with you every night? I would say my hubby. Of course he does go on business trips so when he is gone I have my BFF over and the cats (plus the kids) to keep me company. (are we missing the number 9???)
12. Do long distance relationships work? If they are meant to be I would believe so. the thing is relationships only fail when the people invovled want them to. if you want something bad enough I believe you could make it work.
13. How many times have you been pulled over by the police? That's funny you ask, because I was just talking to Karen and Geoff about this the other night. I only have been pulled over a few times but only one ticket my whole driving life....the other times I was told I had a flat tire or that I might want to try driving the speed limit.
14. Pancakes or French Toast? For what? Mud wrestling?? Probably the pancake, they can hold a buttload of syrup before you start tasting anything, so I am assuming they would be great at mud wrestling.
15. Do you like coffee? Now that is a personal question and I will not answer it.
16. How do you like your eggs? Far away from me. I am a veggie person who has not been able to hold down animal products since about the age of 13.
17. Do you believe in astrology? um....I guess I really never thought this was up for debate.
18. Last person you talked to on the phone? Rainy's neurologist nurse
19. Last person on your missed call list? hmmm.....probably the next door's garden gnome, he wants to come over and play guitar with my garden gnome this weekend.
20. What was the last text message you received? this message with self distruct in 5.....4.....3....2...1.....and then the rest is a blur
21. McDonalds or Burger King? neither. they are both full of animal products. Even their salads, I swear they soak their lettuce in meat juice.
22. Number of pillows? I have like a lot of pillows. I love pillows. I want a pillow room someday, probably next to the big giant bedroom with the huge bed.
23. Last thing you ate? I actually had a big bowl of air with a glass of green tea with mango by snapple. I am house cleaning and chasing after children.....no time to eat.
24. Last thing you bought? Diapers for the cutest 16 month old in the world
25. What are you hearing right now? that is another funny thing you ask, because I had a feeling you would be asking me that and usually all I am listening to is the mice in my head that are running around in their wheel, but today I put some music on while I am typing. So i am listening to "every rose" by Posion.

27. What kind of jelly do you like on your PB & J sandwich? I don't eat pb and j if I can keep from it. I have Arachibutyrophobia so I try not to eat those if I can keep from it.
28. Can you play pool? haha....you are cute. No....i can push the balls around with the pool stick....hmm....that isn't pool though.
29. Do you know how to swim? yeah, as well as I can play pool.
30. Favorite ice cream? anything covered in hot fudge....yummy.
31. Do you like maps? well I don't have anything against them.

33. Ever had a bad day? I am a mother of 3 and one husband, 2 cats one stupid dog and an acre of lawn with a push mower........no never, ever.
34. Ever attend a theme party? i usually throw parties. I cannot remember going to a theme party. We went to a circus once that was really a wedding.
35. Ever do a keg stand? yeah not quiet sure what you are asking me.
36. Craziest place you've slept after a night of drinking? one time i drank sooooooo much water that i had to fall asleep on the toliet.
37. What is your favorite season? the one(s) where it's nice outside.
38. What is the first music video you ever saw? I am not sure, I probably have seen alot of music videos before I realized what they were.

43. How long have you known them? to damn long...LOL.....about 13 years.
44. Last time you laughed at something stupid? Karen and I got lost in Okla. city with the 3 kids in the back of the car, it was raining and the kids had finally fallen asleep. But it had been a long long day. We were running late to our friends wedding, and I looked at Karen and we both had gone from crying of being so frustrated to laughing so hard we were crying. And then karen said, i think we are lost.........that whole day minus the wedding was just so stupid.
45. What time did you wake up this morning? well Fox my alarm clock, went off at 6 am. I hit the snooze and went back to sleep......j/k......I didn't hit the snooze, but I did go back to sleep....until 6:15am.
46. Wake up next to anyone? The cat was laying on top of my head, so I suppose that counts.
47. Best thing about winter? Sledding, I love love love sledding.

49. How old are you? well mentally about 12, phyiscally 26, emotionally about 50, it's hard having a sick baby and not feel old from that.
50. What month is your birthday in? it is actually a national holiday that starts on June 24th (one month before my birthday) and goes until (July 25th the day after my birthday) For everyone doing the math, my birthday is on July 24th.
51. Do you think pirates are cool or overrated? depends on if I have upset the pirate. And if the pirate is Johnny Depp or Orlando Bloom....makes a huge difference.
52. Favorite Dave Matthews Band song (if you have one?) I like that one....Where are you going.
53. What are you doing this weekend? working on our half bathroom hopefully. And running.

My name is Jewels and I am a proud mommy to three of the most good looking kids in the world. This blog is about our little girl Rainy who has battled a rare brain illness for about 5 years now. When she was born the doctors told us that we should enjoy her for the time we have her, but that should be sound advice for everyone not just those who are sick.
